Bonnie Schneider, a weather expert, is featured on CNN and HLN's numerous platforms. In March 2012, she will be the TV expert, co-executive, and producer of the DIY NETWORK special, titled THE LAST HOUSE RESISTING. Bonnie's debut book, EXTREME WEEKEND was published by Palgrave Macmillan in January 2012. Her website promoting her multi-city book tour beginning Feburary 1, 2012 in Boston, media appearances and video chat is BonnieWeather.com [[1]] In August, 2011 during coverage of Hurricane Irene, Schneider's book was featured on HLN's popular prime time show, Special Report with Vinnie Politan Prior her work on CNN that began in the summer of 2005, Schneider has also been the Weekend Meteorologist/Special Assignment Reporter for "The Ten O'Clock News" on WLVI-TV WB56 in Boston. For three days in a week, Schneider also served as the reporter for WB56 on WLVI TV in Boston. Before joining WB56 she worked as a weekend forecaster at WFOR-TV Miami. She was in various reports and meteorology jobs, including News 12 Long Island (a 24 hour cable TV news channel) as well as WXII-TV, both in Winston-Salem. While in New York City, she served as a weatherman fill-in on The Saturday Early Show for CBS.
